My thesis is finally come to an end. With the help of my dear friend Ayce, I submitted it and now waiting for a date for the commitee presentation. Meanwhile I will be resting a little bit. the stress of the last few weeks has ruined my stomach, now I am only eating potatoes and boiled vegetables. to have pain constantly is so tiring. so I will have a painting therapy. I sketched this piece this evening and it quickly helped me a lot on feeling better. Now it's baking..we'll see what it will be like..

tezim nihayet sona erdi. canım arkadaşım Ayçe'nin yardımıyla teslim ettim şimdi de jüri tarihi bekliyorum. bu sırada biraz dinleneceğim. son birkaç haftanın stresi midemi mahvetti, şimdi sadece patates ve haşlanmış sebzeler yiyorum. sürekli acı çekmek çok yorucu. bu yüzden resim terapisi yapıcam. bu eskizi bu akşam çizdim ve hızla kendimi daha iyi hissetmemi sağladı. şimdi pişiyor..bakalım neye benzeyecek..

T-shirt design " The Rocket"

Arkadaşlar threadless sitesinin bir yarışması için yaptım, konu çocukluk. Uzaya gitmek veya rokete binmek pek çok çocuğunu rüyasıdır. Belki bazılarıız TenTen'in uzay macerasını ya da Saint Exupery'nin Küçük Prens'ini hatırlar. Bu hikayeler uzay hakkındaki tuhaf ama aynı zamanda tutkulu duygularımızı beslemiştir. Artı, kim bulutların üstünde yaşamak istemez ki? Hiç uçağa binmemiş bulutların üstünün gerçekte nasıl göründüğünü bilmemişlerimiz bile eninde sonunda bu rüyayı kurarlar. ben bu rüyayı Jack ve Fasulye Ağacı'nı okuduktan sonra kurmuştum. Canım bulutların üzerine çıkan birşeye tırmanmayı çok fena istiyordu. ne yazık ki İstanbul gibi bir metropolde ağaca tırmanmak bile neredeyse imkansız. Bu imkansız rüya içimde hala yaşıyor :)

It's a magical dream of many children to go to space or at least to be in a rocket! Perhaps many of you would remember the space adventure of "TinTin" or "Le Petit Prince" of genius Saint Exupery, all nourish the strange yet passionate feelings about space. In addition who wouldn't love to live up on the clouds? even if some of us never took a plane and saw what it actually looks like above the clouds, will dream about it eventually. My first dream about it was when I read "jack and the beanstalk". I wanted to climb anything above the clouds really bad. Unfortunately I grew up in a metropolitan city called Istanbul where it's almost impossible to climb even a tree! that impossible dream still lives inside me.

hyperx girl V.2

ehhh işte, üşenmedim o beğenemediğim boyamayı egale etmek için eskizin üzerinden yeni bir renklendirme yaptım. Bu sefer art rage kullandım. Şimdi daha iyi hissediyorum :) aşağıda fonlu ve fonsuz olarak bitmiş hali var ve bir de çizimin gelişme videosu!

I completed the new painted version of hyperx girl which I almost hate the older one. I painted the sketch using art rage. I feel better about it :) below there are with and without background images and a progress video!

I am continuing my masters degree thesis after a three year break. Meanwhile when I get bored,
I sometimes spend my time on creating growing gifts for Facebook. Meaning that I wasn't able to do any illustrations recently. Soon this will change.! :)
Üç yıl aradan sonra yüksek lisans tezime devam ediyorum. Bu arada sıkılırsam Facebook için "growing gifts"ler üretiyorum. Yani bir süredir herhangi bir illustrasyon yapamıyordum. Bu durum yakında değişecek.! :)
